Careers at Arendoo
Arendoo is a small, hands-on team building a marketplace for holiday accommodation across Bulgaria, Greece and the wider East Mediterranean market. We don't have a permanent hiring pipeline; we open a role when the product needs it, close it once the person is on board, and stay lean the rest of the time.
How we work
- Small team, direct impact. Every person here is close to guests, hosts and the day-to-day of the product. There are no ceremonial layers between the work and the users.
- Remote-friendly. The team is distributed across Bulgaria and Greece. Most roles are location-flexible; a few (typically operations / hospitality-facing) benefit from being on the ground during summer season.
- Full-stack thinking. Engineers own features end to end. Designers stay close to the code. Ops people write documentation. We prefer generalists who can move across boundaries.
- Bilingual by default. Working languages inside the team are English and Bulgarian. Guest-facing communication is multilingual.
Roles we typically look for
When we open a role, it usually falls into one of these areas:
- Product engineering — full-stack web (PHP / Laravel + Vue), infrastructure, data / analytics.
- Product & design — UX research, product design, growth experimentation.
- Hospitality operations — host onboarding, guest support, partner relationships, seasonal ground operations in high-demand destinations.
- Marketing & content — destination content, editorial, paid growth, community.
If you fit one of these directions and think we should know you, write to us regardless of whether we're currently advertising a role. We keep an active shortlist for each area and reach out first when a slot opens.

A cover letter is not necessary; the introduction and one link are enough to start the conversation.
We reply to every serious message. We don't reply to generic templates or messages that appear to have been sent to a hundred companies at once — with a small team, our filter for that is quite strict.
What we don't do
- We don't run unpaid trials or lengthy take-home assignments. If we ask for a small paid piece of work as part of the process, we say so up front.
- We don't do panel-style interviews with more than three people. The team is small enough that everyone you'll work with can be in one conversation.
- We don't offer equity or vesting programmes. Roles are conventional employment or contract terms, disclosed clearly at offer time.
